OYSTER IN A TANGY SPICY SAUCE

This dish is a very traditional and most delicious way of eating oyster in japan.

INGREDIENTS

fresh shelled oyster-rinsed and drained

MARINADE

2 tbsp sake

1 tbsp soy sauce

SAUCE

1/4 cup grated daikon radish

1 tsp chili pepper paste

2 tbs chopped leek

4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 1/2 tbsp mirin

2 tbsp parsley finely chopped

1. In a bowl. mix ll the sauce ingrdients. Set aside.

2. In another bowl, mix the marinade ingredients. Add the oysters and toss, making sure that the oysters are evenly covered in marinade. Let stand for 20 minutes.

3. Heat a non stick frying pan and cook the oysters over high heat until their shape becomes round and all sides are cooked.

4. Place the oysters on individual serving plates and pour the sauce over them.
