2  6-oz salmon fillets or steak

to taste salt and pepper

3 tbsp maple syrup

2 tbsp whisky

1 tbsp dijon mustard

1/2 lemon,juice

2 tsp chopped fresh dill

for garnish dill sprigs or lemon wedges

Preheat oven to 425 F

Season salmon with salt and pepper.Place in a baking pan..

Combine the maple syrup,whisky,mustard,lemon and chopped dill in a bowl.Mix well .

Spoon over the fish.Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the fish begins to flake slightly.

Spoon the pan juices over

Serve with  rice
