LAGAT NA HIPON ( shrimp in tangy sauce)

 

1 tbsp mama sita’s tamarind mix

1/2 tsp crushed black peppercorns

2 pounds large shrimp

1/2 tsp salt

3 tbsp vegetable oil

5 cloves garlic, chopped

1 tbsp vinegar

Heat the oil in a saucepan and saute the garlic for 1 minute.

Add the shrimp ,salt ,tamarind mix, vinegar,and black pepper. Stir, cover and cook for about 4 minutes

Serve with vinegar sauce and white rice
