12oz udon or lomien noodles
1/2 LB cleaned shrimp
1/2 cup shredded chicken
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 onion,finely sliced
1 carrot, finely sliced
1/2 cup bean sprouts
1 cup of sliced bok choy
1 tbsp chili oil
ground black pepper
FOR THE SAUCE
2 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp sake
3 tbsp dark soy sauce
1. Bring a pan of water to the boil and add the noodles. Boil them for 2 minutes and then drain. Rinse the cooked noodles under cold water and set aside.
2. For the sauce,mix the oyster sauce,sugar,sake and soy sauce in a bowl. Set the sauce aside,allow the flavours to mingle
3. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and add garlic and onion
Add vegetables ,shrimp and chicken and continue stir frying for another 3 minutes.
Add the sauce and noodles and stir fry until the noodles is reheated and cooked and all the ingredients are coated.Season with chili oil and black pepper, and serve
