HALABOS NA HIPON

1 lb large shrimp, unpeeled
1/4 cup water
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 clove garlic,chopped
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic

Put the water and 1 tsp of salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the shrimp,cover, reduce the heat and simmer for 1 minute and drain.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and saute the chopped garlic for 1 minute. Add the shrimp and saute for 1-2 minutes. Sprinkle with pepper.

FOR THE DIPPING SAUCE
Mix the vinegar, 1 tsp of salt and the crushed galic and serve in a bowl with the shrimp. makes 2-3 servings
