Ingredients
Fish
salt
freshly ground black pepper
vegetable oil
lemon wedges
vegetable oil for frying
Wash the fish,then pat dry. With very sharp knife,make slashes about 1in apart along the fish,on both sides. Place on a baking tray and spread salt and pepper all over. Leave for 30 minutes.
Heat the oil in a large frying pan over high heat. Place the fish and cook for 6 -10 minutes on both side or until well browned and crisp.Remove and drain on paper towels.
