1/2 ripe plantain,peeled
oil for frying
1. Cut each plantain in half down in the middle,then cut each half into long slices about 1/2 inch thick.
Heat 1/2 in of oil in a large frying pan for a minute or two over a medium heat, then fry the plantain pieces fro 2-3 minutes each side,turning once, until brown. Drain on kitchen paper and serve .
