(I dont like to add ginger on my chicken inasal, Ive tried it twice already and dont like it..I love ginger but not for chicken inasal .
8 pieces chicken legs
3 cloves garlic,chopped
1/3 cup sugar
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tsp black ground pepper
2 stalk lemongrass,chopped
1/3 cup vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp achuete powder
In a large bowl ,place all the ingredients including chicken and marinate for 2-3 hours ..(in the refrigerator)
Use the marinade for basting..simmer the marinade in a pan until thick
Grill or broil the chicken and keep basting until cooked through..
