2 racks pork spareribs ,(7 pounds total cut in half each)
2 medium onion,sliced
2 pieces tomatillos
3/4 cup vinegar
water
1 chicken boullon
1 packet sazon
salt and pepper
MARINADE
1/2 cup mama sita bbq sauce
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
3 cloves garlic,chopped
2 tbsp banana ketchup
In a large,deep pot, cover the ribs with 10 cups of water and a 3/4 cup of vinegar. Bring to a boil,then cover partially and simmer for about 20 minutes.
Pour out half of the liquid and add more water and the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer again over low heat until the meat is tender,1 – 1 1/2 hours and liquid slightly thickened.
Meanwhile ,in a small bowl,whisk together the marinade.
Preheat the grill or broiler.. Brush the meaty side of the ribs with the sauce and place the meaty side up on the grill or a pan and broil
Cook until lightly charred 5-7 minutes.Turning once only and brush again with sauce and grill/bake again
Brush the ribs with the sauce before serving
