I have a better recipe for pandesal but cant share it with you until i try it myself first ..i got this recipe from a great baker in my place ..
3 1/2 cups GOLD MEDAL (BETTER for BREAD flour)
2 envelopes active dry yeast
1 tsp salt
11/2 cups warm water
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp (1/2 stick) unsalted butter at room temperature plus for the bowl
1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
combine 2 cups bread flour,yeast,salt,and sugar.Pour in 1-1/2 cup warm
water and mix to form a smooth batter. add the butter
change the mixer attachment to the dough hook. with hook in motion add the rest of the bread flour until the dough easily pulls away from the sides of the bowl
*transfer the dough to a large buttered bowl .*
*cover with plastic wrap. place in warm place and let rise until doubled in bulk .about 1-1/2 hour.. punch down to deflate cover again and let rise a second time for another 30 mins.
*form about 15 equal rolls coat in bread crumbs and spread more crumbs on a baking sheet
*Heat the oven to 325 and bake until lightly browned about 25-30 minutes
