PANCIT CANTON

 

12oz udon or lomien noodles

1/2 LB cleaned shrimp

1/2 cup sliced fish ball

crabs or imitation lobster

2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 onion,finely sliced

1 carrot, finely sliced

1/2 cup bean sprouts

1 cup of sliced bok choy

1/4 cup green beans,sliced

1 tbsp chili oil

ground black pepper

For the sauce

2 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp sake

3 tbsp dark soy sauce

 

1. Bring a pan of water to the boil and add the noodles. Boil them for 2 minutes and then drain. Rinse the cooked noodles under cold water and set aside

2. For the sauce,mix the oyster sauce,sugar,sake and soy sauce in a bowl. Set the sauce aside,allow the flavours to mingle

3. Heat the oil in a wok over high heat and add garlic and onion


4.Add  shrimp ,crabs,fish ball and continue stir frying for 3 minutes then vegetables.

Add the sauce and noodles and stir fry until the noodles is reheated and cooked and all the ingredients are coated.Season with chili oil and black pepper, and serve
