GUINATAANG KALABASA AT HIPON

 

1 clove garlic,minced

1 medium onion,sliced

1 tbsp vegetable oil

2 pounds squash,cubed

1 tbsp fish sauce

1/4 tsp ground pepper

1 12-ounce can coconut milk

1 tbsp shrimp paste

1/4 pound tiny shrimp

2 tbsp green onions (optional)

In a saucepan saute the garlic and onion in hot oil over medium heat.Add coconut milk,fish sauce and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes then add the squash and shrimp.Simmer until squash is tender. Correct seasoning withmore shrimp paste if desired.
